Since the mid-1800s, when those most in need found comfort next to the warmth of grape marc during the distillation of brandy, we have understood the importance of a constant commitment to the community that surrounds us.
This value has been passed down from generation to generation, and today, at the helm of the fifth generation, it remains firm and unchanged.
Over the years, Antica Distilleria Petrone has consistently supported various charitable initiatives, keeping its social commitment alive. Thanks to the deep bond with the Italian Air Force, of which we are proud licensees of the brand managed by Difesa Servizi Spa, we have had the opportunity to contribute to the project "A Gift from Heaven for AIRC".
This initiative, born with the aim of raising funds for the purchase of advanced and essential technological equipment for cancer research at IFOM, the Institute of Molecular Oncology of the AIRC Foundation, represented for us a tangible way to put our corporate values into practice and make a significant contribution to the fight against one of the most devastating diseases of our time.
The check delivery ceremony for the project "A Gift from Heaven for AIRC" took place on February 8, 2024, inside our company premises.
The presence of General BA Urbano Floreani, Chief of the 5th Department of the Air Force General Staff, Colonel Angelo Carusone, Head of the Brand & Media Division of Difesa Servizi SpA, the Prefect of Caserta Giuseppe Castaldo, Colonel Salvatore Florio, Commander of the 9th Wing "F. Baracca" in Grazzanise, Lieutenant Colonel Pasquale Naiolo on behalf of Colonel Francesco Sassara of the Air Force Specialist School of Caserta, made the event even more significant and underlined the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors for the common good.
