Amarè - Special box designed by Giugiaro Architettura

Antica Distilleria Petrone and Giugiaro Architettura meet to create an unprecedented combination of traditional liqueur and Italian style.

The aim of the collaboration was to create a box containing one of Petrone's spirits specialties combined with a design object by Giugiaro Architettura.

The studio has created a style research that takes inspiration from the Campania tradition and the dynamism and innovation of the automotive industry. The tasting glass designed exclusively by the designer is an extraordinary union between modernity, sensations and territory.

The packaging, which contains the exclusive Petrone spirits and the two tasting glasses, is characterized by a background texture that represents a lava flow turned into stone. The lava stone, symbol of the fertile Campania land, becomes the identity of Petrone products, representing the essential link with the territory.

Tasting Notes

Dark amber in color with golden reflections. Austere, vertical, severe but balanced on the nose thanks to the addition of cane sugar. Soft, smooth on the palate with wild and perceptibly citrusy hints and a slightly bitter finish.

Our advice

Excellent digestive at the end of a meal, perfect neat or on the rocks, it should be served preferably chilled with a lemon or orange peel. AmaRè lends itself to various possibilities, its nature as a officinal bitter gives the bartender and mixologist various interpretations of the product. Excellent diluted with tonic water during the summer, exceptional as a cocktail accompanied by a Gin.
